Jointly held by All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) and The People’s Government of Liaoning Province, Top 500 Chinese Private Enterprises Summit is set to take place between Aug 29 and Aug 31 in Shenyang.
In order to keep eyes on the development of private enterprises, ACFIC has conducted an annual research for large-scaled private enterprises since 1999, said Zhao Dejiang, secretary-general of ACFIC.
The researched 4,612 enterprises include some private enterprises and limited liability companies whose total revenue reached 500 million yuan ($72.78 million) or more. The list of Top 500 Chinese Private Enterprises directly drew from the annual research and began releasing to the public since 2010.
The purpose of this summit is to encourage large-scaled private enterprises to help grow local economy, he added.
At the same time, the summit plans to invite about 1,000 delegates and hold a round-table conference with the World’s Top 500 with the theme of “sharing new opportunities for further development”.
Private enterprises are the vital engine that promotes high-quality development in Liaoning province, and this is the perfect opportunity to improve the enterprises themselves, said Li Guowei, deputy secretary-general of The People’s Government of Liaoning Province.
